I am Nirman

(pronounced as nir-maaan). I am an Ex-Professional artist and now Hobbyist/Freelance artist.

Hi I am Nirman Sarkar & I am from India. I had worked in couple of companies where i rendered my services as an artist and as a User Interface consultant. But after retiring from my art jobs I have moved on to freelance. Although I got into a large govt organisation for more than a considerable years of my life I continue to do my art. How much time you spend in a week

Every day about 3-4 hours unless i am dead. And then i come back to life again and get back to my art.

Tools of work

I used Photoshop with a Wacom Intuos 3 small on an old laptop which archaeologist would consider their oldest find!! Haha. Now I have moved on to a shining new iPadPro 12.9″ 2017 model and an Apple Pencil. It so damn amazing to be able to work directly on the screen like a paper! Oh and my main tool of work is the inspiration i find anywhere in good art.

Do you have qualified degree in relevant field?

Nah man… I am self taught! Doing my art since the age of 2.

What you do other activities in daily life

I love to watch movies, spend time with my family and eat delicious meal!! … hahah! I don’t like to sleep much as i feel i am missing out on the precious time i can use for my art work. But the thing that I love the most is going through a lot of good art online and be mesmerized.
